Every tool on this site is free. No ads, no trackers, no accounts, no upload of your files to anyone's server — the tools run in your browser and the work stays on your machine. That is a deliberate choice, and it is the part that costs money instead of making it.
The first thing a tip pays for is the thing that is not here. After that it goes to the work behind the site:
- Staying ad-free. No banners, no sponsored tools, no analytics quietly selling your visit on. That is the whole reason this page exists.
- The domain and the hosting. The yearly registration for bomsaisoftware.com, and Cloudflare, which serves all 85 tools and runs the contact form.
- The subscriptions. The software used to actually build and test what ends up here.
- Better hardware. More machines to test on. Something that works perfectly on my computer is not finished — it is untested.
Ko-fi takes no cut of a tip, so more of it lands where it was aimed. Card or PayPal, and no account to make.
Plain terms: this is a tip jar for a one-person studio, not a charity, so nothing here is tax-deductible. Nothing is locked behind it either — there is no supporter tier, no early access, no members-only tools. Every tool is already the full version, and stays that way whether you chip in or not.
Free ways to help
These are worth as much, and cost nothing:
- Tell someone. A link sent to one person who needed that exact tool beats any ad.
- Report what breaks. Odd file, wrong result, something ugly on your phone — say so. Bugs get fixed fastest when someone reports them.
- Ask for a tool. Most of what is here started as somebody's actual problem.
